In July of 2001, Jeff George and his brothers undertook a daunting task: that was to design a funeral home building that would meet the needs and goals of their clients and staff. To achieve this end, they contacted Interior Designer, Brenda Murphy, IFDA, in Metro Atlanta, Lilburn, Georgia. Mrs. Murphy had previously worked on Designer Show Houses as well as with Fortune 500 Companies planning Corporate Headquarters.

The goal of the George Brothers was to design a space that created a dignified, comfortable atmosphere that was welcoming and tasteful. Their design goal was not to overwhelm clients and family members with an excessively ornate or opulent interior nor did they wish to present a space remininscent of residential interiors. Instead, they preferred to create a simple space using a soothing color palatte and classically elegant appointments and furnishings. This was done to convey the highest level of respect for their clientele.
