Arnold Dennis Williams

Mr. Arnold Dennis Williams, 72, of Greensboro, received his reward on January 29, 2018, at his residence surrounded by his family.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12:30pm – 1:30pm at George Brothers Funeral Service. A graveside service will follow at 2:00pm at Lakeview Memorial Park.

Mr. Williams was born January 26, 1946, in Rockingham County, to the late Charlie and Bessie Welch. He was veteran of the United States Army having served in the Vietnam War where he was awarded three purple hearts and one Bronze Star. He was retired from Sears and UNCG and enjoyed landscaping and being outdoors.

Mr. Williams is survived by his soul mate for a lifetime, Lucille Carter Williams Freeland; sons, Arnold Desi Williams (Gail) and Marc Carter Williams; grandsons, Camden Anderson Williams and Landen Carter Williams all of Greensboro; his beloved pet dog “Shadow”; the Williams Family with two brothers and three sisters; the Carter family; extended family and friends.
