Betty Yow Roberts

Betty Yow Roberts went home to be with the Lord on October 24th, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.  Betty was a beloved Wife, Mother, Mem-Maw, and Granny.  Betty was born in Greensboro N.C.,   on September 10th, 1934 to the late William and Carrie Yow and was preceded in death by her son Charles Roberts Jr.  She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 62 years, Charles G. Roberts Sr., son, Bobby Roberts (Sandra) daughters, Linda Courtney (Bill), Sharon Edwards (Wayland), eight grandsons, ten great grandsons, one great granddaughter, and brother, Troy (Sharon).    A celebration of life will be held on Friday October 27th, 2017 at 12:00 at True Light Baptist Church, 3711 Flint Street.  Greensboro, NC  27405, conducted by Pastors, Greg Cassady, Scott Williard, and Brandon Gibson. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.    The family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:45 prior to the service and at other times at the home.  The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of The Beacon Place for the special care they administered during her stay.  In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Ave, Greensboro, NC  27405.  George Brothers Funeral Service is assisting the Roberts family with funeral arrangements.
