Blanche (Reeves) Robbins
June 7, 1922 ~ May 24, 2017 (age 94) 94 Years OldMrs. Blanche Reeves Robbins, 94, passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at Beacon Place.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at George Brothers Funeral Service with Pastor Andy Garner officiating. Burial will follow at Grace Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Robbins was preceded in death by her husband, James Robbins; parents, Calvin and Lillie Reeves; sisters, Ruby Crutchfield and Gladys Burns; brothers, James and Lacy Reeves; and nephew, Gary Reeves.
Blanche was an elder at Rehobeth Baptist Church and had retired from Wesley Long Hospital. She loved to work in her yard, clean around her house, take care of her flowers, and she especially enjoyed having her dip of snuff that she referred to as “keeping her company”. Blanche didn’t have kids of her own, but she had two that she considered hers, Billy Wayne and Brooke.
She is survived by her “special great nephew”, Billy Wayne Reeves (Heather), along with their children, Tyler, Mackenzee, Dakota, and Braden; special friends, the London, Griffin, and Mitchell families; and nephews, Wayne Reeves (Bobbie), Gary Reeves, Doug Reeves and kids, and Jack Reeves (Dawn).
The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Sunday at George Brothers Funeral Service.
