C. "Tommy" Thomas Farrington

Mr. C. “Tommy” Thomas Farrington, 93, of Greensboro, passed away at his residence on Thursday, October 26, 2017.

Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Monday at George Brothers Funeral Service. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. The burial, with military honors, will follow at Burnett’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Tommy was born September 26, 1924, to the late John and Cora Farrington. He served in World War II from 1943 to 1946, as a Seaman 1st Class, for the United States Navy where he received numerous honors. He retired after 35 years from Blue Bell in Greensboro. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jewel Marsh Farrington.

Tommy is survived by three children, Phyllis, Thomas, and Rick; his brother, Clarence Farrington; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Triad.
