A graveside service will be held Monday, July 27, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Lakeview Memorial Park with Rev. Michael Barrett officiating.
He was born October 10, 1920 and has been a resident of Greensboro for the majority of his life. He was owner and operator of Safety Electric Service, Inc. until his retirement. He was a faithful member of Pleasant Garden Baptist Church and active with the “Saints Alive” prior to his declining health. Mr. Jordan will be remembered for his story telling about his life experiences.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Anna Marie Jordan.
Survivors include his last living sibling of a large family, Anna Jordan Whitefield of Roxboro; his loving son Roger and daughter-in-law Judy of Pleasant Garden, who contributed lovingly to his care; his grandchildren, Dale Jordan (Meg) of Pleasant Garden, Karen Harvell (Gary) of Jamestown; great grandchildren, Charlie, Parks, Ayden and Molly Jordan, Blane Gray and Nick Harvell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There is no visitation scheduled.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Garden Baptist Church, “Saints Alive Choir”, P.O. Box 157, Pleasant Garden, NC 27313.
