David Ray Owens, Sr.

David Ray Owens, Sr., 67, born November 21st, 1950, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 11th, 2018. He fought the good fight and has finished his race. David passed on, surrounded by his family, to stand before God.

He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Polly Lou Staley; his beloved aunt, Lizzie and other family members.

David is survived is his wife of 48 years, Patricia Owens from Climax, NC; his daughter, Polly Hall (Jeremy); his son, David R. Owens, Jr. (Dana); his grandchildren, Justin, Julianne, Jenna Hall and David R. Owens, III (Tripp) and his sister, Teresa Perry  (Bobby).

The family would like to celebrate the life of David with you at 10:00 am, on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at Vandalia Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
