Dorothy Ann (Wheatley) Stanley
August 28, 1927 ~ November 9, 2015 (age 88) 88 Years OldDorothy Ann Wheatley Stanley, 88, of Greensboro, went home to her Heavenly Father on November 9, 2015.
A memorial service will be held 7:00pm Saturday, November 21, at George Brothers Funeral Service.
Dorothy was born August 28, 1927, in Greensboro, to the late Charlie Columbus Wheatley and Nora Clay Wheatley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Marvin Stanley and her loving sisters, Louise Warren, Virginia Rhew and Blanche Stanley.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Stanley Allred and fiancé, John Hutchinson; her son, “Mark” Clarence Marvin Stanley, Jr. and his wife Beverly Dabbs Stanley; her granddaughters, Angela Allred Richards and husband, Bart, Pamela Allred Duvall and husband, Andrew, and Alexis Stanley and her great grandchildren, Chandler Richards, Dillon Richards, Drew Duvall and Kendall Duvall.
The family will receive friends from 6-7:00pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
