Frances Juanita McCormick Whitehead

Frances Juanita McCormick Whitehead, 88, of Greensboro died Tuesday, February 9, 2016.

Celebration of Life service will be 3:00 PM Sunday, February 14, 2016 at Centenary United Methodist Church, where she was a member.

A native of McDowell, West Virginia, Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Frank “Tumble” Whitehead; her parents, Tandy and Lillian McCormick; brothers, Warren and Elwood McCormick; and sister, Wilma Canoy.

She is survived by her daughter, Roni Whitehead Lamb of Charlotte; sister, Mildred “Pete” Robinson of Greensboro, and brother, Billy Ray McCormick of the Villages, FL.

The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM Sunday in the church parlor prior to the service.
