Geraldine Buffington Dillard, 79, of Brown Summit died Thursday, July 2, 2015 at her residence.
Funeral will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at George Brothers Funeral Service with burial to follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.
Geraldine retired from Bell South Telephone Co. (now AT&T). She also retired from Summit Credit Union. Geraldine was a member of Lawndale Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, J. Ferman Dillard and brother, William “Bill” Buffington.
Geraldine is survived by her daughter, Carol D. Denny of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Lori Dillard of Greensboro; sisters, Jeanette B. Miller and Elaine B. Wood; grandchildren, Michael F., Andrew T., and Charles T. Denny all of the home; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
