Imogene Copeland
April 19, 1934 ~ November 4, 2017 (age 83) 83 Years OldImogene Copeland, 83, of Greensboro died Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Maple Grove Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Glenwood Friends Meeting with burial to follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.
Imogene was a member at Glenwood Friends Meeting. She was employed as a CNA but never lost her love of caregiving to those in need. She was full of energy and life always looking for fun things to do with her family. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Imogene was a wonderful gardener and Bingo player and she had started to master the game of Dominos. She also enjoyed traveling to the beach Imogene found comfort and solace in listening to all kinds of music especially gospel music. Imogene was devoted to her Lord and her church and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Imogene is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Annie Mae Stack; children, Carol Wright, Barbara Honaker, and Eddie Minor; and her brother, David Stack.
She is survived by her son, Joseph Minor of Carolina Beach; siblings, Peggy Hartman of Kernersville, Don Stack of Yuma, AZ, Wayne Stack (Brenda) of Greensboro, Glenn Stack of Elkin, and Catherine “Cathy” Hill of Greensboro; grandchildren, Angela Honaker, Jeff Minor, Lorie W. Fix, Jimmy Honaker, and April Sheppard; along with seven great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM Tuesday at the church prior to the service.
