Jack Thomas Hicks
July 19, 1935 ~ November 17, 2015 (age 80) 80 Years OldMr. Jack Thomas Hicks, 80, of Greensboro went home to be with his Lord Tuesday, November 17, 2015.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, November 20, 2015 at George Brothers Funeral Service with Pastor Ray Calhoun officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park.
Jack was born July 19, 1935 in Guilford County to the late Eugene and Annie Bell Cheek. He attended Community Chapel Baptist Church and was previously employed by NASCAR and Lemons Garage.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne Hicks, a daughter, Ebbie Shirley and a grandson, Zachary Greene.
Survivors include his sons, Scott Greene of Southmont, Mike Greene (Kathy) of McLeansville and Kelly Greene of Greensboro; his grandchildren, Mike Greene, Jr. (Christy), Chad Greene (Beth), Nicole Greene, Natalie Greene, Thomas Greene, Lindsey Greene, Gracie Greene and Krystal Shirley; his great grandchildren, Logan, Raelynn, Layla and Danica; and a sister, Beverly Marsh.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Chapel Baptist Church, 3501 Ravendale Drive, Greensboro, NC 27406.
