Jack Franklin Millen

Mr. Jack Franklin Millen, 83, passed away September 30, 2015.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Sunday at George Brothers Funeral Service. The burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.

Jack was born September 24, 1932, in Anson County, NC to the late Odis and Viola Millen. He was retired from the United States Post Office after many years of service. He loved to bowl and did so for many years with the Gate City Bowling League. Jack was a veteran of the United States Air Force having faithfully served in the Korean War.

Jack is survived by his wife of 51 years, Ruth Thomason Millen; son, David Lee Millen (Sharon) of Texas; step-son, Bobby Webb (Vivian) of Greensboro; grandson, Christopher Lee Millen (Jill); sister, Norma Martin (Johnny) and brothers, Jerry Millen and J.C. Millen.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
