Jimmy Fulmer

Mr. Jimmy Fulmer, 74, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2015 at Greenhaven Health and Rehabilitation Center in Greensboro.

He was a native of Arkansas and had come to North Carolina in the early 1970’s.  He served his country in the U.S. Army working with the Armed Forces Radio.  Jimmy entered radio in 1958 coming out of high school and worked locally with WCOG, WKEW, WBIG, WPET, and the UNCG Spartans.  If you saw him driving around you saw him in his 1966 Volkswagon that he bought new and drove until his health prevented him from driving just a couple years ago.  Jimmy will be greatly missed by those who knew and worked with him.

His surviving family is still located in Arkansas and that is where Mr. Fulmer will be laid to rest.
