Joseph Larry Green

Joseph Larry Green, 83, entered heaven peacefully on the evening of Thursday April 27, 2017 at his High Point residence with family by his side.

A Gathering of Friends to celebrate his life will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the Proximity Hotel in the Latham Room from 2 - 5 pm.

Larry was born on July 18,1933 in Guilford County to his parents, Alfred Green and Lucile Brewer. A North Carolina resident his entire life, Larry embodied true Southern charm and tradition. Larry loved to reminisce his 30 years with Ecolab to anyone who would listen. He enjoyed the beach, a good drive around town, and a home cooked Southern meal. However, his favorite pastime was spending time with his family.

He was husband to the late Mrs. Mary Alice Green for over five decades and is survived by their daughter, LuAnn Crissman and her children, Allison and Matthew. Also left to cherish their memories include his brother and wife, Max and Rachel Green, his sister, Peggy Hinkle, and sister-in-law and husband, Wanda and Harry Hill.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages those to send their condolences in forms of charity donations.
