Lessie Lujenie (Mitchell) Smith

 Lessie Mitchell Smith, 101, of Greensboro, died Tuesday, May 24, 2017 at Hospice of Greensboro’s Beacon Place.

Funeral will be 2:00 PM Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Reedy Fork Baptist Church with burial to follow at the church cemetery.

Born in Wilkes Co. NC, Lessie was a member of Reedy Fork Baptist Church for seventy-five years. She worked with Blue Bell Textiles.

Lessie is preceded in death by her husband, Worth Smith; daughter, Charlotte Smith; granddaughter, Sabrena Collins; grandson, Warrant Ellis; and great grandson, Mitchell Busick.

She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Smith (Boyd), Linda Beck, and Faye Everett; sons, Tracy Smith and Mitchell Smith; along with six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1-1:45 PM Saturday at the church prior to the service.
