Lillian Aleen (Vernon) Breedlove

McLeansville – Mrs. Lillian Aleen Breedlove went home to be with the Lord Saturday, June 18, 2016.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at George Brothers Funeral Service Chapel.  The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Breedlove was born June 14, 1929 in Guilford County to the late George Wesley and Henrietta Vernon.  She was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church.  Mrs. Breedlove co-owned and worked at Breedlove Radiator for over 30 years.  She was also a homemaker who loved her family, cooking (especially making biscuits), working in the yard and growing beautiful flowers.  Mrs. Breedlove truly cared for people and was always looking for a hug from those she loved, but she especially loved giving hugs to others. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther B. Breedlove, Jr.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Ronald (Connie) Breedlove, Brian (Jeri) Breedlove, Mike Breedlove, Timmy (Cheryl) Breedlove; daughter, Kim Breedlove; nine grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Cheryl Breedlove for the selfless care she gave their mom, and also to the wonderful staff of Hospice of Greensboro.
