Linda Lou (Hall) Grant

Mrs. Linda Hall Grant, 73, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016 at New Hanover Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at George Brothers Funeral Service with Rev. Patrick Fuller officiating. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park.

Linda was born July 8, 1942 in Wayne County to the late Richard Forest and Ethel Dawson Hall. She was a loving wife and mother and cherished her 3 grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Richard Hall, Jr., James Hall and Robert Hall and a sister, Doris Hall Basden.

Survivors include her husband of 55 years, John “David” Grant of the home; a son, Michael Grant and wife Lori of Greensboro; a daughter, Tracy Moore and husband Jerry of Wilmington; 3 grandchildren, Victoria Grant, Tyler Grant and Peyton Moore; a brother, Billy P. Hall and wife Ann of Goldsboro; a sister, Lorraine Butts and husband Danny of Dudley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
