Linda "GiGi" (Newman) Walker

Linda “GiGi” Newman Walker, 64, of Greensboro passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017 at her residence after a brave battle with cancer.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, May 7, 2017 at George Brothers Funeral Service with Pastor Wayne Adams officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:30-2:30 PM, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Linda was born March 12, 1953 in Guilford County to the late William and Margaret Barbee Newman.

Survivors include her son, Darrell Walker and wife Melissa; two grandchildren, Hailee Gail Walker and Cooper Darrell Walker; her significant other, Asa Hugh Jackson, Jr.; her sister, Betty Reddick and husband, Billy; and her sisters of the heart, Emily Gardner, Sally Bedsole and Kim Stevenson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4-A Oak Branch Drive, Greensboro, NC 27407.
