Loretta Blanche (Jenkins) Kerns

Loretta Blanche Kerns, 83, of Greensboro, NC, formerly of Morgantown, WV died Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at her residence.

Loretta was born October 4, 1932 to the late Lee and Jenny Jenkins in Glenville, West Virginia. Loretta was a loving wife and mother who devoted her life to caring for her family.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Kerns, Sr., son, Stanley Kerns, Jr., and brother, Alfred Jenkins.

She is survived by her children, Linda Gerard (Sam) of Morgantown, WV, Sharon Anderson of Greensboro, NC, Kathy Willis of Sterling, VA, Gale Kerns of Sterling, VA, Kenny Kerns of Reidsville, NC,  and Vanessa Rowe of Huntsville, AL; brothers and sisters, Jean Auvil of Lordstown, OH, Beatrice Smith of Parkersburg, WV, Kenny Jenkins (Anita) of Deerfield, OH, Doc Jenkins (Lea) of Atwater, OH, Richard Jenkins (Maryan) of Hiram, OH, Jimmy Jenkins (Judy) of Fairmont, WV, and Dixie Hager (Charles) of Morgantown, WV; fifteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm Saturday, October 10 2015 at George Brothers Funeral Service in Greensboro, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
