Mildred Lee Burton Jordan, 86, of High Point, passed from this life on Monday, March 12, 2018 while at Shannon Gray Rehabilitation and Recovery Center.
Memorial service will be 1:00 PM Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Created for His Glory Ministries, 210 Oakwood St, in High Point.
Mildred was born in Alamance County to the late Alex and Lessie Burton. She was a member of New Covenant Holiness Church in Burlington where she served as a deaconess and gospel singer. Mildred was a woman of faith that loved the Lord.
She was a loving wife to the late, Willie Lee Jordan.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, son, Elex Jordan, Sr.; daughter, Lessie Hodges McCollum; grandchildren, Tonya Jordan Jackson, Elex Jordan, Jr., Taylor Jordan, and Fred Hodges; eleven great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; brother, James Burton; sister-in-law, Anni Lee Turner; and a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 12-1:00 PM Saturday at the church prior to the service.
