Modine Greeson Friddle
April 4, 1933 ~ July 3, 2015 (age 82) 82 Years OldMrs. Modine Greeson Friddle passed away Friday, July 3, 2015 at Whitestone, a Masonic and Eastern Star Community.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 5, 2015, at Mt. Hope United Church of Christ with Rev. Lloyd Spencer officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Modine was born April 4, 1933 in Guilford County to the late Oscar Carme and Ada Ruth Clapp Greeson. She was a member of Mt. Hope United Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Wayne, Homer and Harold Greeson.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years, L.B. Friddle of the home; a brother, Dewey Greeson (Jean); a sister, Helen Busick, both of Julian; a sister-in-law, Emma Jean Greeson of Whitsett; and 2 special niece caregivers, Lisa Moser of Julian and Tammy Chapmon of Whitsett, and their families.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Hope United Church of Christ, 2400 Mt. Hope Church Road, Whitsett, NC 27377.
