October 22, 1956 ~ October 7, 2017 (age 60) 60 Years OldMr. Johnny “Stoney” Edward Stone, 60, passed away Saturday October 7, 2017 at his residence.
A celebration of life service will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at George Brothers Funeral Service with Pastor Jeff Hutchins officiating the service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time.
Johnny was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Bobbie Lou Ashburn Stone, Sr.; brothers Dennis, Billy, and Mark Stone; sisters Suzie Thornton, and Toni Jones.
He is survived by his brother Clarence Stone, Jr. of Greensboro; sister Karen Yates and brother-in-law Mike Yates of Greensboro; nephews Rusty and Mikey Yates both of Greensboro; special cousin Teresa Runyan of Wadesboro, NC; special great niece and nephew Carley and Brody Yates, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Karen Yates 2703 S. Holden Rd. Greensboro, NC 27407.
Following the service, the family will receive friends at the home of his nephew Mikey Yates, 4211 Groometown Rd. Greensboro, NC 27407.
