Mr. Keith Allen, Sr.

Mr. Keith Allen, Sr. passed away Friday April 14, 2017 at Moses Cone Hospital.

A funeral service will be 2:00pm Wednesday at George Brothers Funeral Service.  Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time.

Mr. Allen was loved by all who knew him. After retiring as an executive chef, he was employed with the Jamestown YMCA where he enjoyed working with the older community. He enjoyed catering different events for the Diabetic through the Jamestown YMCA, and was in fellowship through his wife with Lebanon Baptist Church.  He served his country honorably and faithfully in the United States Marine Corps.

He is survived by his wife of 28 years Lisa Allen of Greensboro; children Keith Allen, Jr. of Connecticut, Jordan Allen of Greensboro, Alexandria Allen of Greensboro, and Heaven Graves of Greensboro; mother-in-law Betty Mebane of Greensboro; sisters Nancy Allen of Riedsville and Gayle Allen of Texas.  He was adored by his grandchildren Summer, Bruce, Jaida, Rylie, Kamryn, Grayson, Elijah, and Tahj.  Also surviving are a host of family members and friends.
