Mr. Norman Eugene Steed

Norman Eugene “Dink” Steed of Pleasant Garden, NC passed on February 15, 2017.

A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at George Brothers Funeral Service.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In the last two years, he withstood more than any man should have to in his fight with blood cancer that in his last days progressed to AML.  He was a man who loved his family deeply, and fought the fight bravely to stay with his family.  He will be remembered for his quick witted humor, undeniable love for his family (and doggies), his gorgeous head of gray hair, and his handsome sweet smile.  He loved his family, working in his workshop, and sitting on his screened in porch.

He leaves behind the love of his life, his wife of 47 years, Tina Steed; the light of his life, his son Kenny Steed; his amazing daughter-in-law, Stephanie; his beautiful grandchildren, Brittany Heath (Lawrence), Bailey Steed, and Caitlyn Steed; his brothers, Tommy Steed (Donna); and brother-in-law, Billy Pedigo (Kay Boggs); and his sweet puppy, Ellie Mae.  Our hearts are broken, but he is now at peace.  Until we meet again, sweet Love.
