Mr. Roy Grant Sizemore

Mr. Roy Grant Sizemore, 74, passed away March 10, 2018 at Moses Cone Hospital.

A funeral service will be 11:30 am Wednesday at Monnett Road Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Gilmore Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 10-11:30 am at the church.

Mr. Sizemore was born in Henrico county, Va. to the late Jessie and Cora Newman Sizemore.  He was member of Monnett Road Baptist Church, and was a member of the Southeast Volunteer Fire Department.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his wife 52 years Wanda Sizemore; daughter Christina Williams and husband Robby “Meathead” of Liberty; son Christopher Sizemore and wife Carrie “Favorite Daughter-In Law”  Also surviving are his grandchildren Mark Williams, Justin Williams, Ella Sizemore, and Lincoln Sizemore.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Monnett Road Baptist Church, 6033 Monnett Rd. Julian, NC 27283 or Southeast Volunteer Fire Department 6012 Liberty Rd. Climax, NC 27233.
