Wesley Leroy Dupree, 60, of Greensboro, passed away February 1, 2018.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday February 8, 2018 at Gospel Baptist Church.
Wesley Dupree was born in Guilford County on April 26, 1957 to the late John and Dorothy Dupree. Wesley was an active member of First Baptist Church of Gethsemane and was currently employed at Crown Dodge Auto and a longtime parts specialist. He also has spent many years working for Show Pros Entertainment Services. He was an avid Tarheel fan and enjoyed watching all sports. He loved to travel, but the beach was his favorite place to be. He enjoyed fishing, taking photographs, and playing solitaire. He loved to listen to lots of different music, and if you knew Wesley, he was always humming or whistling.
He is survived by his wife Beth of 41 years, two daughters Keisha, 35 and Kara, 24 and his loving cat Gilbert Dwayne. Three Sisters, Shelvie Thorpe, Janice Church and husband Glenn, and Patricia Culler and husband Jimmy. Brother-in-laws Edward Beal, William Beal and wife Darlene, and Jimmy Collins, and Sister-in-law Robin Beal. Nieces Kristy Stroud (Lee), Laura White (Wally), Ginger Coble (Kelly), Brenda Overly, Kathy Henry (Charles), and Jennifer Hernandez (Claudio). Nephews Paul Church (Darla), Jamie Langley(Angela), Phillip Thorpe, Roger Overly (Jackie), Jimmy Beal, Tracy Parker (Kathy), Ricky Beal, Bradley Parker (Shaunta), Danny Beal (Kelly), and Johnny Beal. Plus many great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive family and friends from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday February 7, 2018 at George Brothers Funeral Home, and at all other times at the home of Jennifer Hernandez.
