Mrs. Betty Clemons Atchison
November 2, 1930 ~ December 30, 2017 (age 87) 87 Years OldMrs. Betty Clemons Atchison, 87, passed away Saturday December 30, 2017 at Annie Penn Hospital in Reidsville.
A funeral service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at Hunter Hills Friends Meeting. Burial will follow at New Garden Friends Meeting Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at the church.
She was employed with Flavorich Guilford Dairy for 41 ½ years, and with Moses Cone Hospital for 12 years. She was also a member of Hunter Hills Friends Meeting.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years David W. Atchison.
Mrs. Atchison is survived by her children David Steven Atchison (Diane) of Canton, Ga., and Dale Watson Atchison (Donna) of Summerfield; grandchildren Crystal Ginther (Dustin) of Greensboro, Lori Atchison of Alabama, David Atchison (Melissa), and Joel Atchison all of Georgia; great-grandchildren Nathaniel and Seth Atchison both of Greensboro, Bradley Atchison, Greyson Atchison, and Olivia Atchison all of Georgia. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
