Mrs. Carol Marie Townsend Griffin

Mrs. Carol Marie Townsend Griffin, 48, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at 2:00 pm at George Brothers Funeral Service with Dr. Lawrence Clapp officiating. 

Carol was full of life and loved to spend her time at the beach, travelling with friends and family, watching the birds in her yard, lounging around her swimming pool with family, sewing, and making quilts.  Material things never mattered to Carol, she loved to serve others, and nothing meant more to her than her family.

She is survived by her sons, Johnathan Hill and Matthew Griffin; parents, Ronald and Faye Townsend; twin sister, Tammy Stewart (Tate); brother, Ronald “Wes” Townsend, Jr.; nieces, Lauren and Taylor; nephews, Cody and Garrett; grandmother, Margie Garrett; as well as numerous family and friends whom she loved.

The family will receive friends from 12:30-2:00 pm prior to the service.
