Mrs. Elizabeth "Jean" Ledbetter James
August 15, 1941 ~ March 8, 2017 (age 75) 75 Years OldMrs. Elizabeth “Jean” James, age 75, passed away Wednesday March 8, 2017 at Beacon Place.
A funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday at George Brothers Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Gilmore Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
She was born in Cabarrus county, to the late Clemmer Ledbetter and Pauline Johnson. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy James, Infant Jimmy Ray Chrisco, brothers Donald and Steven Ledbetter, and faithful companion “Spot”.
She is survived by her children Leon Chrisco (Lori), Billy Chrisco (Linda), and Henry Chrisco (Diane), sisters Cynthia Allred, and Lynn Goodwin and brother Randy Petree. Also surviving are many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Beacon place for their kindness and gentle care provided to Mrs. James.
