Mrs. Irene Dodson Osborne
January 4, 1929 ~ November 29, 2017 (age 88) 88 Years OldMrs. Irene Dodson Osborne, age 88, went home to her heavenly Father on Wednesday November 29, 2017.
A funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Community Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time.
Mrs. Osborne was born to the late Henry and Viola Dodson. She was a faithful member of Community Baptist Church. She lived her life with the heart of a servant, and loved everyone.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings Bernard Dodson, Paul Dodson, Florence Cook, Howard Dodson, and Charlie Lee Dodson.
She is survived by her husband, of 70 years, Avery Osborne of Greensboro; children Jade Osborne (Donna) of Greensboro, Geraldine Wilson of Greensboro, and Gene Lee Osborne (Bobbie) of Greensboro; brother Elroy Dodson; grandchildren Diane Osborne and Sara Eastwell; great-grandchildren Robert Secor and William Eastwell.
