Mrs. JoAnn Barlow Staley

Mrs. JoAnn Barlow Staley, 72, passed away Thursday July 2, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

A funeral service will be 2:00 pm Sunday at George Brothers Funeral Service.  Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.

Mrs. Staley was a member of Clifton Road Baptist Church, and retired from K&W Cafeteria Restaurant, as a secretary, with twenty-five years of service.

She was preceded in death by her mother Margaret Lucille Barlow; husband Dewitt Staley; brother William Littlejohn.

Mrs. Staley is survived by her children Lisa Staley Hernandez of Stokesdale, DeeAnna Lilly (Scott) of Kernersville, and Amy Staley Gant (Greg) of Oak Ridge; brother Gary Barlow; grandchildren Nicki, Casey, Courtney, Cameron, and Nicholas; great-grandchildren Caleb and Hayden;brother-in-law James “Cook”  and Barbara Staley “Bestest Friend”.  Also surviving are special friends Butch and Vickie Shumate.

The family will receive friends 12:00-2:00 pm Sunday at George Brothers Funeral Service.
