Mrs. Martha Rowland Millican, age 80, went home to be with The Lord peacefully on Wednesday November 18, 2015 at her residence.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in Raleigh.
Mrs. Millican was born in Wake county, to the late Worth and Claudia Hocutt Rowland. Martha was a 1953 graduate of Garner High School.
She was a wonderful lady with many talents. She was an avid gardener, artist, and “ The Original Martha Stewart”.
She was a loving mother to her daughter Laura Millican, and to her late son Roland Michael Millican. She was adored by her three grandchildren Molly Millican, Hannah Danielson, and Sarah Schubert. Her family will miss her love, talent, kindness, and cooking greatly.
