Norman Scott White
March 23, 1945 ~ March 20, 2017 (age 71) 71 Years OldMr. Norman Scott White, 71, passed away Monday, March 20, 2017 at Beacon Place.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Lee’s Chapel United Methodist Church, where he was a member, with Rev. Joseph Kim officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall.
Norman was born March 23, 1945 in Wake County to the late John Walter White, Jr. and Dorothy Scott White.
Survivors include his children, Eric Scott White (Alicia) of Elon and Elizabeth Lynn White of Athens, GA and their mother, Janet Dupree White of Greensboro; brothers, John Kenneth White (Delores) of Rochester, MI and Steven Jay White (Allison) of Lexington, KY; and his granddaughters, Madison Nichole White and Mary Grace White, both of Elon.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lee’s Chapel UMC, 2303 Lees Chapel Road, Greensboro, NC 27405.
The family would like to say a special “Thank You” to Lee’s Chapel UMC and especially Pastor Joseph for all of the care, love and support given to Norman during his illness.
