Peggy Burton Obituary
Mrs. Peggy K. Burton, 94, of Greensboro, passed away February 26, 2018, at Beacon Place.
A graveside service will be held 1:00pm Wednesday at Centre Friends Meeting Cemetery with Pastor Bill Young officiating.
Mrs. Burton was born April 4, 1923, to the late Walter and Maude King. She was a member of Sumner Baptist Church for 40 years and was currently a member of Good Shepherd Church of Greensboro.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Philip H. Burton.
She is survived by her children, Philip Burton (Lynn), Donald Burton (grandson, Hunter), Roger Burton (Mary), and Patricia Holliday (Darrell); she also had a special place in her heart for her six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beacon Place of Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405.
