Phillip Franklin Durham

Phillip Franklin Durham, 77, of Greensboro, died Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.

A Celebration of Life service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, February 10, 2018 at George Brothers Funeral Service.

Phillip was born in Rockingham county to the late Sampson and Lula Durham. He was the youngest of eight children. Phillip spent his life doing what he loved, driving an 18-wheeler.

He enjoyed gardening, NASCAR racing, western movies, working on cars, and spending time with his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of fifty-six years Linda and daughter Vicky Durham of the home, daughters, Sherry Wright and husband, Brad, Phyllis Peddycord and husband, Jeff, Robin Medley and husband, John, Lisa Benton and husband, Brad. Phillip adored his ten grandchildren, Ashley, Jessi, Aubrey, Colton, Emily, J.D., Mason, Wade, Matthew, and Cameryn; and one great granddaughter, Kendall.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
