July 4, 1955 ~ May 18, 2015 (age 59) 59 Years OldMr. Robert Joel Rumley, 59, passed away Monday, May 18, 2015, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 5:00 p.m. at George Brothers Funeral Service with Pastor Stephen Dupree officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
Robert was born July 4, 1955 in Guilford County to Robert Calvin Rumley and Ruby Fulk Coleman.
He attended Holly Ridge Church of God and was an accomplished song writer and musician.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Sonny Britt.
Survivors include his mother, Ruby Fulk Coleman; a sister, Lori Britt Batts both of Hampstead; a niece, Brianna Jordan Batts and a nephew, Brandon Joel Lee.
