Ronald "Ron" Sparks

Mr. Ronald (Ron) Sparks of Greensboro passed away April 16, 2016.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday at George Brothers Funeral Service. The burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Ron was born April 2, 1949, in Wilkes County, to the late Clate and Nannie Sparks. He attended Westover Church and was a general contractor for Sears and Lowes for many years. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Saferight.

Ron is survived by his son, Chad Sparks; step sons, Justin and Tyler Elkes; brother, Jerry Sparks (Charlotte) and brother-in-law, Norman Saferight.
