Ruth Woodell Jackson

Ruth Woodell Jackson, 72, passed away early Wednesday morning, March 7, 2018 at Beacon Place.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Saturday, March 10, 2018 at George Brothers Funeral Service. The family will receive friends immediate following the service at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 4:30 PM at Gray’s Chapel UMC Cemetery.

She was born July 31, 1945 in Guilford County to the late Jesse David and Inez Pugh Woodell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step mother; Alice Woodell, a sister, Dorothy Winchester and a brother, Wayne Woodell.

Survivors include her 2 children, Joseph Jackson and Angela Jackson; 3 sisters, Janice Wilkerson, Joyce Reed and Myra Norton; and 1 brother, Ray Woodell.
