Sadie Wood Obituary
Sadie Mae Guy Wood, 91, of Pleasant Garden, passed away February 1, 2018 with family by her side.
Funeral will be 1:00 PM Saturday, February 3, 2018 at George Brothers Funeral Service with burial to follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.
Sadie was born in Lumberton, NC on January 1, 1927 to the late Don and Stella Guy. She retired from P. Lorillard Tobacco Company with thirty years of service.
Sadie was preceded in death by her late husband, Therron B. Wood, Sr. and her daughter, Janice E. Wood.
She is survived by her children, Donald Wood of Las Vegas, NV, Therron “Benny” Wood, Jr. and wife, Debra of Greensboro. Robert Wood of Greensboro, Gale Flowers and husband, Eddie of Youngsville, NC, and Kim Webb and husband, Charlie of Greensboro; eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Friday, February 2, 2018 at the funeral home.
