Shirley Lorraine Barbee

Shirley Lorraine Barbee, 84, of Greensboro, died Friday, December 2, 2016 at Hospice Home of High Point.

Funeral will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at George Brothers Funeral Service with burial to follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.

Mrs. Barbee was born August 3, 1932 to the late William and Scharlotte Warf. She was a member of Spirit and Truth International Church. She was the former owner of the Lawndale Drive Inn (Miss Mac’s Place).

She is preceded in death by her sons, Robert (Robbie) Barbee, Jr. and William David Barbee.

Shirley is survived by her daughters, Anita Barbee Jones of Greensboro, Vickie Rodriquez (Alberto) of California, Lisa Sexton of Greensboro, Theresa Barbee Taylor (Russ) of Kernersville, and Cynthia Barbee Reddick (Parrish) of Thomasville; grandchildren, John Smoot, Alan Jones, Barbee Brown, Kevin Jones, Kaleigh Reddick, Heather Taylor, and Addison Reddick along with eight great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday, December 5, 2016 at the funeral home.
