Shirley Hancock Hedrick

Shirley Hancock Hedrick, 89, of Greensboro died Sunday, February 18, 2018 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.

Funeral will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Tabernacle United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Hedrick; sisters, Margie Mendenhall, Carolyn Guffey, and Catherine Hoover; along with her brother, Wade Hancock.

Shirley was an avid gardener and enjoyed her yard tremendously

She is survived by her son, Ron Hedrick of Greensboro; granddaughters. Paige Hedrick and Haley Hedrick; great grandchildren, Ellie and Emory; brother, Mahlon Hancock of Greensboro; along with several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday, February 17, 2018 at Pleasant Garden Baptist Church in the church fellowship hall.
