Theron Taylor Gailey
September 4, 1931 ~ October 9, 2017 (age 86) 86 Years OldTheron Taylor Gailey, 86, of Greensboro and Galax, VA. died Monday, October 9, 2017 at Hospice of Greensboro’s Beacon Place.
Funeral will be 3:00 PM Saturday, October 14, 2017 at George Brothers Funeral Service with burial to follow at Guilford Memorial Park with military honors.
Uncle Theron was born September 4, 1931 in Thomasville, NC. He was a graduate of Sumner High School and High Point University with honors. Theron also served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. Most of his working life was in teaching and social services work both in Greensboro and in Galax, VA. Theron also loved traveling and took many trips with his brothers. He taught us all so much with his kindness.
Theron is preceded in death by brothers, Hoyt, W.J., Howard, and Charles Gailey along with his sister, Frances Kinley.
He is survived by his brother, James J. Gailey and sister, Lera Belle Clymer and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
