Mr. Larry C. Rochester, 69, went home to be with his Lord, Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm, Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at George Brothers Funeral Service. Interment will follow in Level Cross United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Larry was born March 22, 1943 in Iredell County to the late Oliver and Lena Miller Rochester. He was a veteran serving in the US Army, a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
Survivors include his wife of 12 years, Wanda Rochester; daughter, Crystal Fields; son B.J. Fields (Miranda); two grandchildren, Katie and Hannah Fields; brother, Bud Rochester and a sister, Molly Anderson (Larry).
The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.

Larry was a close friend of mine that I will miss very much. He has traveled all over the United States for me when ever I would ask him too. There is not much that he would not do for me. Wanda I know you and your children and Grand Children will miss him very much. I am so sorry he did not get the chance to have his surgery this week. I know that he is not sick or hurting anymore. Please know that I will do my best to help you with anything I can. I loved larry like a brother and will miss him so much.
