Scott Ferguson died June 13, 2012 at Moses Cone Hospital.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June, 16 2012 at 11:00am at George Brothers Funeral Home.
He was born to Robert Ferguson and the late Myra G. Brumfield on August 8, 1957 in Huntington, WV. He was an avid Marshall fan and a great guitar player. His greatest pride was his daughter Brittany Shea Ferguson Thomas.
He is survived by his wife of twenty-five years Kathy Ferguson of the home; father, Robert Ferguson and step-mother Freida of FL, daughter, Brittany Shea Ferguson Thomas and husband Chris; step-daughter, Brandy D. Pegg and husband Bryan Black; granddaughter, McKennzie Black; grandson, Trevor Black; sisters, Terry Roberts of WV; Cindy Ferguson of FL, and brother Andy Ferguson of WV; several nieces and nephews and great nephews; and aunts and uncles; and adopted daughter, Amber Shea Parker.

Words seem inadequate to express the way I feel about Scott's death. He will always be in my heart. Scott had such a great character. He was genuinely a wonderful person and will be greatly missed. When someone you love becomes a memory, their memory becomes a treasure.

So long Scotty......will love and miss you always! When you see Aunt Crete give her a kiss from me, and get the girls (Rena Dell, your Mom Myra, and Aunt Crete)to sing some of their good three part harmony to just praise the Lord. And don''t ask too many questions........give Rich some time to do that too. Love you.God Bless you.
