Kenneth Glenn Sauls

Mr. Kenneth Glenn Sauls, age 81, passed away Friday, April 12, 2024, at Moses Cone Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at South Elm Street Baptist church with Dr. Lawrence Clapp officiating the service.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service time.

Mr. Sauls was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who was born in Lee County, to the late Melton and Ruby Stone Sauls.  He enjoyed going to Biscuitville for his ham biscuit and cup of coffee. Kenneth retired from the United States Postal Service with thirty-six years of service.  He was an avid sports fan and he especially enjoyed the Greensboro Grasshoppers.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Brenda Sauls Pegram.

Kenneth is survived by his loving wife, of sixty-one years, Linda Sauls; children Donnie Sauls (Tammy) and Kathy Atwell (Joe); sister Joyce Murray; and son-in-law Robert Pegram.  Also surviving are his grandchildren Jennifer Miller (Brandon), Amanda Jackson, Joshua Sauls (Lindsay), Paige Zucchino (Gabe), Eric Sauls (Lauren) and Breanna Venable (Austin); great-grandchildren Walker Miller, Lakyn Zucchino, Avett Sauls, Bennett Miller, Charlotte Sauls, Teagan Zucchino, Oliver Sauls, Presley Sauls, and Pierson Venable.
