Thomas Hunt

Thomas Hunt, 82, 0f Climax passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.

Funeral will be 1:00 PM Friday, March 15, 2024 at George Brothers Funeral Service with burial to follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:30-1:00 at the funeral home prior to the service.

He was born January 9, 1942 in Red Springs, NC to the late Sherman and Mable Lowery Hunt. Thomas retired from AC Corporation after forty years. He was a member of the Pineland Street Full Gospel Church in Greensboro.

Along with his parents, Thomas is preceded in death by his wife, Linda; children, Carol Denise Hunt and Thomas Adrian Hunt, grandchildren, Jeremy Farrington and Joshua Hunt; seven brothers and four sisters, and brother-in-law, Russell Kinlaw.

Thomas is survived by his children, Angie Liskey (Mark), Cindy Hilton (Mike), Jimmy Hunt, Connie Whaley (Larry), Ken Cockman, Shelby Taylor, Brad Hunt (Leslie), Shannon Hunt (Chuck); grandchildren, Hollie, Micah, Michelle, Darryl, Rebekah, Chris, Dusty, Angel, Dustin, Jenny, Jamie, Courtney, Bethany, Faith, Aubrey, Adeline, Lexi, Monk, and Eli; several great-grandchildren; a few great great-grandchildren; brothers and sister, Eugene (Lynn), Homer (Faye), Candace (Kenny), and Alton (Judy); along with a host of nieces and nephews.
