Anthony Ray Nance

Anthony Ray Nance, 36, of McLeansville died unexpectedly on Friday, December 29, 2017.

Funeral will be 2:00 PM Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Mt. Hope United Church of Christ with burial to follow at the church cemetery.

Anthony was a graduate of Southeast Guilford High School. He was employed with Select Laboratory Partners in Greensboro as a biomedical service engineer.  He was a sharp dresser that loved playing his guitar.  Anthony was a kind soul and a friend to all. He enjoyed going to car shows and was a big fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Carolina Tarheels.

Anthony is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leo and Kathleen Nance and his twin sister, Amber Dawn Nance.

He is survived by his parents, Donald and Sharon Nance of McLeansville; sister, Tammy Martin and her husband, Joey of Julian; maternal grandparents, Harold and Doris Reece; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family would like to acknowledge a special thank you to Mr. Ernie Knesel who supported and believed in Anthony both as a friend and a boss.

The family will receive friends from 5-7 pm Wednesday, January 3, 2017 at Mt. Hope United Church of Christ, 2400 Mt. Hope Church Road in Whitsett.
