Barbara Ann (Smith) Smith

Mrs. Barbara Ann Smith, 81, passed away Wednesday afternoon, February 27, 2019 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Hines Chapel Church with Reverend Milton Wilder and Pastor Chad Williams officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents, Worth and Lessie Smith; and sisters, Charlotte Smith and Linda Beck.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 52 years, William “Boyd” Smith, Sr.; son, William Boyd Smith, Jr.; daughter, Catherine Smith Wilson; son, Jerry Randall Gunter; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Tracy and Mitchell Smith; as well as a host of family and friends whom she loved.

The family will receive friends following the committal service at the church.
