Mr. Bernard Waffer Sandridge, 72 passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018 at John Keever Solace Center in Asheville, NC.
The family will receive friends Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 11:30-12:30 at George Brothers Funeral Service with a graveside service to follow at 1:00 pm in Lakeview Memorial Park with Pastor Mike Barnette officiating.
Bernard was born September 25, 1945 in Guilford County to the late George Lee and Mary Josephine Neville Sandridge. He was a member of McLeansville Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Joyce McCormick Sandridge; and 3 brothers, St. Elmo Sandridge, Richard Lee Sandridge and Alfred Benjamin Sandridge.
Survivors include his children, Yvonne Eleazer (Patrick) of Matthews, NC and Glenn Sandridge of Seattle, WA; and a grandson, Colin Eleazer of Matthews.
